About the Irish Real Tennis Association
| |
The IRTA was formed eight years ago in response to the plans to turn the Dublin court into a recital hall. Since then, its
chief activity has been the pursuit of the return of the court to
its original use. We have also held five annual Irish Real
Tennis Championships (by necessity hosted by sympathetic UK real tennis clubs), and several friendly fixtures.
Some IRTA members outside the Dublin court. From left to right: Ben
North, Bear North, Ted Neville (secretary), Mike Bolton (chairman),
John McGrath.
