One of our members, Brian Rich, who has a wealth of knowledge and material on the history of the game of real tennis, unearthed this one-page article. From a roughly contemporaneous account of the World Championship held on the Dublin real tennis court in 1890, this set of engravings shows Tom Pettitt (Boston) retaining his title in a match against the challenger Charles Saunders (London).

We don't have the precise details of the source of this article; The Graphic seems to have been an illustrated weekly English publication whose first edition was printed in 1869. If we find more details, we'll put them here.
